01 Vehicles
WORLD PACK-ART & SERVICES runs a fleet of vehicles designed entirely for transport, whether of removals or of works of art. All our trucks and light vans are constantly updated with the latest and most advanced systems, in order to guarantee quality and optimum conditions, in every parameter, throughout the journey, and they have the following features:
- Capacity suited to the particular features of the work of art and its packing, in both volume and weight.
- Air suspension.
- Insulated body.
- Hydraulic tail-lift.
- Anchoring systems with lashing straps.
- Temperature and humidity control systems.

At WORLD PACK-ART & SERVICES, with quality and constant improvement as our aim, we offer arrangements such as two drivers per truck, which improves security and covers as much of the route as possible without stopping. GSM telephone communication and GPS equipment keep the vehicle located at all times.
02 Fleet
WORLD PACK-ART & SERVICES runs a fleet of vehicles of different kinds to cover our clients’ needs, from heavy padded-body trucks with 40 to 50 m³ of load space down to small padded-body vans with up to 20 m³. We also have support vans and furniture hoists to make it easier to move pieces where access is restricted. Capacity is suited to the particular features of the works of art and their packing, in both volume and weight. That choice of interior structure is improved with optimising systems such as a waxed floor of Norwegian phenolic plywood boards, which lets the crates slide smoothly when stowing and unstowing, or an aluminium floor with the same features but less weight, which widens the useful gap between the vehicle’s unladen weight and its maximum authorised mass, so it can carry more under similar conditions.
03 Air suspension
The padded-body trucks and light vans have air suspension, which absorbs vibration better than conventional coil or leaf-spring suspension, and is also more reliable and longer-lasting. This suspension allows different height settings, adapting to the load and levelling it optimally throughout the journey.
04 Tail-lift
Every vehicle has an aluminium tail-lift, able to handle loads from 500 kg up to more than 1,000 kg. Insulated body. The vehicles have an insulated structure to keep the temperature and relative humidity at the optimum conditions for works of art.
05 Temperature and humidity control systems.
Controlled from the vehicle cab and running independently, reporting their status in the cab in real time, the climate units in the trucks and light vans hold the temperature and relative humidity of the load space steady at between 20 and 22 °C and 50–55 % relative humidity.
06 Tracking systems.
The vehicles are fitted with GPS tracking systems that make it possible to know the location and speed of each truck at any moment and in real time. Each vehicle also carries a GSM telephone.
